wordless whitsundays

stunning islands

Whitsundays written in the sand of Whitehaven Beach

Rather than blathering on like I normally do, I decided to indulge in some alliteration and proudly present (mostly) wordless Whitsundays on this Wednesday.  We hope you enjoy our perspective of the 74 islands that crown the edge of Queensland.

These pictures are AMAZING. And bittersweet. When I was in the Whitsundays earlier this year, it was mid-cyclone, and my views looked NOTHING like this!

Beautiful photos! I especially like the ones of the sunsets.

Thanks so much ladies! The funny thing is that everyone kept on telling us that it wasn't "as good" as it usually is because we were getting the remnants of the dust storm. So, I don't know what it looks like when the weather is beautiful, but we thought it was really gorgeous there. Kristen, you need to try and make it back out there when it isn't cycloning. :)

Wow! I can't believe that the water is so blue. The turquoise sheen on the water is quite out-of-the world. Have fun! Mom

Gorgeous photography! Particularly underwater. I loved the Whitsunday blues, particularly under sunny skies when the water was transparent. You make me want to return!
